2010 So Far

Well 2010 has been a very busy time so far.

Having joined a new art group "Suffolk Exhibitions" I held my first group exhibition in the fantastic village hall at Brandeston.

My main focus though has been my first solo exhibition running 16th March to 10th April at the Reunion Gallery in Felixstowe.

A total of 28 new paintings have really concentrated my mind, and to be honest, I've really enjoyed it, although tramping through the snow going down to the studio was not much fun.

The paintings are now hung in the gallery, and will appear here on the website, once the exhibition is closed.

Just to ensure I've had no spare time, I agreed to be in charge of the 2010 directory for Suffolk Open Studios. So have nearly completed the collation of 140+ artists, advertisers and galleries, with the directory going to print ready for a mid April launch and well in time for the Showcase Exhibition at Blackthorpe Barn in May.

Well I'm sure my entries will improve as the blog progresses, so bear with me.
